Présentation
À propos de moi
I am an artist at heart, I think. Theatre is my passion. I call it a lifestyle choice. I love acting and it is changing the way I exist in the world. I love watching people and figuring out what makes them tick. People are fascinating and they give me new ideas to bring to the stage. Travel is tied with acting as favourite ways to get out of my comfort zone, listen, watch learn, be silent and attentive, then bring forward the best of what I've learned.
Last February I played Desdemona in "Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet" at the theatre in my hometown. My most recent show was a dark waking nightmare of a play, "Lion in the Streets", which taught me so much and I am so grateful for the director, author, and my characters for teaching me about some of the difficult intricacies of this existence.
On the road, without theatre, my focus has turned to self-improvement and making the most out of every day. I have welcomed advice from those who give it freely. I am focusing now on being PRESENT - listening to the crickets, the birds, watching wind blowing through the grass, noticing insects and plants and rocks and the tiniest beautiful details. Getting rid of invasive thoughts - regrets, shame, anything distracting and non-productive.
Ive taken up an interest in foraging. Starting slow, but learning the basics. I am rediscovering the joys of reading. Experimenting in the kitchen is a focus whenever I have a kitchen to play in.
I've been traveling with my partner Jesse since March, and we have had, together and separately, the most wonderful experiences being open and happy and enjoying this planet.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I have always loved traveling, and have been lucky enough to come from a family of adventurers. With them, I have been able to have lots of cool travelling experiences.
