About Me

i teach 6th and 7th graders in harlem NYC and i LOVE it. i'm super friendly and i love meeting new people from all over the world, especially people that i can show around my city and have new experiences with. i love to cook meals for my friends, play instruments and sing karaoke, and wander around the city, exploring and taking photos.

i also really love 90s hip hop (and hip hop culture), reading tons of books, learning about the world, playing pool/billiards, checking out live music/shows, dancing, running, and creating.

i like to keep my heart, mind, ears, eyes, and arms open. being weird and silly is important to me. let your freak flag fly. dream your dreams, then live them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i couch-surfed in Berlin in 2009 and it was a blast. i plan on surfing again, but i would love to meet and possibly host new people in the mean time.
