Overview
About Me
CURRENT PATH
Be Kind, Unwind. Going to pursue a masters in tea cultivation/landscape sustainability in the PNW. Metalworking, fiber arts, learning new craft skills. Exploring and gaining new experiences.
ABOUT ME
Modest, respectful, and currently nestled down in Portland, OR. An occasional traveler, recently biked/hitched across the island of Maui. I always love to learn about where I'm staying, and contribute. I've dabbled with wildlands conservation research and interests in art. I can sit down to a good cup of tea and have conversation, or just stick to my own path and share/contribute when necessary. Whatever works best for all! I appreciate immersion or just a nice cozy place to stay for the night.
PHILOSOPHY
if you don't know where you're going, any road will get you "there" , be conscious, be kind, and share with others
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking for 1-2 night sleeping spots mainly, not too many preferences but can bring along my own sleeping bag. I'm a trail hiker, bike rider, and still exploring the pacific north west. I'm fairly urban rooted, but I don't own a motor vehicle and would love to learn about different regions and towns from those who know it best (or have niche or interesting information or talents to share)...hence couch surfing!
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've lived with some of the greatest hosts at the 560 art-environmental collective in Syracuse, NY and at a sister collective in Los Angeles. Im very inspired to share in the same way! I love people with a travelers spirit, and those that are caring enough to share their space.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
mainly friends of friends, or collective houses. I enjoy everything from low maintenance environments to active, creative, and vibrant gatherings! I also don't mind simplifying and pulling up a sleeping bag on the porch for an overnight.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, cooking, chores, small funds. A really nice drawing or two. An exchange for when you need a place to stay in Portland!
