CURRENT MISSION

See the sights, live the dream!

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Jessica, I'm 25. I'm laid back...but I'm out going. I have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. I am easy to get along with and easy to talk to, meeting new people should always be a positive experience. I'm young, happy, adventurous and well on my way in seeing all the world has to offer!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is about doing exactly what makes you happy! "if you wait for the perfect moment, you'll never really do much of anything. TAKE the moment and MAKE it perfect"

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My current living situation does not allow me to host, however I am always excited to meet with new people when they come to town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Finally! I've been waiting patiently to update this section! I recently traveled through Europe with a friend where we had the pleasure of experiencing what couch surfing is all about. Several countries, cities and hosts later we are home safe and sound and beyond excited for the next experience! The hosts were amazing, each and every one of them added in to making our trip nothing short of spectacular. Its a wonderful thing being able to stay with people who talk the talk and walk the walk! I couldnt have asked for anything better!

Centres d'intérêt

I'm a sports fanatic, soccer, hockey, snowboarding, you name it. I love traveling anywhere and everywhere whether its a city away or across the world. I love seeing the cultures and the way people live, meeting locals is always a fun experience. I also have the biggest love for food, I love trying new foods and am far from picky. I come from a world where winter takes up a good 6 months of the year, so needless to say when summer comes around I love to spend every waking moment outside. I live at the beach/cabin, I'm a typical girl, if I can find the time to get a tan...I WILL. I love sight seeing, art/architecture draws me in with ease.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music defines life. I'm not picky when it comes to music, I listen to whatever makes me happy that day, I love music I can relate to. Country, rock, R&B, pop....I like a little of everything! As far as movies go I am suuuuuch a junky for a good scary movie!! You know the type that get you so scared that you couldn't possibly go to sleep without watching a funny movie first!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The first time I ever traveled outside of Canada was with my family. When I was 17, my parents took me to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. As it was my first real trip I was eager to see all the sights and go on every adventure offered to me. I spent two weeks scuba diving, zip lining through the forests, swimming with sharks and dolphins, and lets not forget the cave diving. It opened my eyes to the beauty in the world, for the first time I got to see amazing sights that I would never see in my every day life.....so the traveling fetish begins.
After my first big traveling experience I took the advice of a friend who said "How can you travel the world, when you don't even know what is in your own backyard?" and traveled Canada as much as I possibly could. I realised that my whole life I had been saying "life here is so boring, there is nothing to do" boy was i wrong! There were countless adventures awaiting me, not far from home. Experiencing "my own backyard" allowed me to discover all kinds of cultures and got me wanting to learn more about life in other countries.
I recently traveled through Europe with a friend of mine, 8 countries, 15 cities, and countless stories later I am even more eager to travel then I was before (which, I must admit I didnt believe possible) I've seen beauty like I never knew existed. Thew world is absolutely an amazing place.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Well, I may not be good at alot of things, but one thing I could teach with ease is how to dig your way out of a snow drift taller then yourself! Haha. I always love learning new things, if you're willing to teach, I'm eager to listen! As far as sharing goes, I think most people could agree that getting together and tossing experiences back and forth has got to be one of the greatest things!
