ABOUT ME

I'm on the road again. I just finished spending far too much time in one place and now I'm most of the way across the globe, hoping for englightment or at least cheap housing. I like taking pictures of old doors, reading books about strange politics and magick, and listening to music in all of its various forms. In my spare time I try my best to make the world a better place, or at least a less stupid one. So far it hasn't worked, but I'll be sure to let you know when I meet any success.

Well, that's Yoni. I like going places and seeing things and taking pictures and attempting to paint things. Right now I'm watching the death of punk and looking for a new art project.

PHILOSOPHY

Just because I have a crazy haircut, a beard, and a flair for the dramatic does not mean I'm a philosopher! I like the feeling I get when I take a really good picture. I like discovering new things. I like stroking my beard and pretending I'm having really deep thoughts when in fact I'm thinking about what to eat for lunch.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I know people all over who have couches and might want to put your ass up for a night or two. When I get back to a proper address, I'll be sure to try and host folks coming to town, whatever town that might be. I'm hoping that you will do the same for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Oh, you know. I've slept places that haven't been home, not in any real sense of the word. The best experience I had in the past few months involved a couch in an abandoned farm house in western Virginia. We had arrived in the town really late at night and our friend was not answering his phone. We thought we were at his house but we weren't sure and we didn't want to wake anyone up and finally we decided to give up... and at a rest stop about fifteen minutes out of town my partner's phone finally rings! It's our friend! We can stay at his house! Huzzah! So we found our way back there. It was one of the most satisfying nights of sleep I've had for years.
