About Me
My mission on Earth : Discover, meet, share, enjoy :)
**
About me ?
Easy going girl, I'd describe myself as a world eater.
As I'm a compulsive traveller, I left France 10 years ago to discover every single country of our amazing Earth.
My way to do it ?
Mainly going to live for 6 to 18 months in countries I've never been before.
There I find friends, a place to call home and a job, to discover and live 100% the local life.
After living in Dublin, London, Rome, Berlin, Barcelona, Lisbon, Alice Springs, Melbourne, and many cities in South America, I'm back to Europe to settle down for a bit, and currently living in Milan!
I'm still travelling a lot though, soon going to discover fantastic Japan with my best friend!
And in a few months, I plan to leave Italy to settle down again somewhere else. Canada? Belgium? Who knows!
To be continued...
**
The 3 moral bases of life for me are respect, honesty and justice.
**
What do I want ?
Make my dreams come true
Travel as much as I can
Make people happy :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to bring as much happiness and joy as I can, whatever I do, wherever I go, whoever I met !
People say that I always have a smile on my face, and I believe it's true, because I enjoy everything a lot (even when I'm taking public transportations alone, true fact !) :)
**
About my experience here, I can say I've been on many couches, and met amazing people :)
Hosted loads of great travelers as well !
Interests
Listening to music (all categories - Favourite being pop-rock, electro, funk, balkan, disco, folk, rock, classical music, ...)
I used to practise drums, but I'm missing opportunities to carry on!
I'm a fan of The Beatles and Muse.
**
I love cooking, mainly my own experimental random recipes :D
As I'm very curious, I'm very into trying to taste every kind of food from wherever I go.
**
I'm more and more into photography (I'm crazy about insects (macro), crowds and water reflections)
**
Used to do theatrical improvisation, now I just enjoy watching it !
**
I'm a bit of a geek, but not the anti-social kind ;)
**
And above all, I love travelling by cultural immersion to discover new cultures, cities, people, way of life, cooking and languages
**
Also, it's been two years I'm very into slow cosmetics (home made and simple) & natural health care. Back to the roots, running away from all those poisons in the supermarkets.
I'm doing a bit of everything, from toothpaste to hand cream, face oils, exfoliants,...

Music, Movies, and Books
About music, see above :)
I read as much as I can ... Which doesn't means as much as I would like to, unfortunately !
About movies, everything except horror movies !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
* Starting a new life every year, by going in cities I've never been before, where I don't know anybody, to discover everything I can, make all my senses arouse always more.
* Driving a motorbike (for the first time in my life)... In Vietnam !
* Snorkelling and diving in the Australian Great Barrier Reef
* Living in a abandoned house
* Swimming in the Mekong, after a tour on a boat with 100% local people
* Eating insects, tarantulas, century egg, dog, chicken feet, seaweed, fertilised egg, crocodile, snake, sheep's eye, goat testicles ...
* Having a foot in each hemisphere at the same time (West - East) in Greenwich
* Running 2 half marathon in Lisbon
* Drinking a Luwak coffee in Indonesia
* Swimming with a giant Australian turtle in the wild
* Going to Woodstock festival (the one in Poland though :p )
* Living for a day in a ethnic minority in Cambodia (no electricity nor water)
* Climbing roofs and cranes and enjoying the view of sleeping cities
* Walking hundreds of kilometres in the Parisian unauthorised carriers (wrongly called catacombs)
* Doing 2000 km hitchhiking from Barcelona to Berlin, and then the way back
* Getting lost everywhere I go (worst sense of direction EVER)
* Observing platypuses in the wild (Tasmania)
* Serving drinks to Pete Doherty in Camden Town
* Being with the man I want to spend my life with :)
* Listen the ant's defence song, in the middle of the night, in a deep Khmer forest, from the hammock I was sleeping in.
* Attending the birth of 2 goats and a sheep, during a volunteering in an Argentinian farm
* A 4 days tour in Sur Lipez and Uyuni Salar
* Travel in huge trucks (hitchhiking)

Teach, Learn, Share
Everything comes at the right time :)
I love to surprise my hosts !
Anyway, as a "thanks for hosting us", my boyfriend and I are use to cook traditional French, Italian (or other exotic) dishes to our hosts. And I should admit we're quite good at it ;-)
(Or at least... Nobody ever complained :-p )
So if you like risotto, ratatouille, special polenta, crêpes,... Get ready to eat!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer smiles and as much happiness as you wish :)
Some great tips about simple DIY beauty things (like making your own toothpaste, washing your hair with corn flour, and so on ...)
I love to cook, but not common things. I like experimental meals :D
I enjoy a lot asking about people's culture and passions : always endless amazing conversations !
