About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Striving to intentionally love others well, living in adventure and fun.
ABOUT ME
Striving to love others well, living in intentionality, adventure and fun.
I love getting to know people. I love hearing about your heart, dreams, struggles and hopes.
I can be quirky, silly, I laugh a lot, I am active, down to earth, love to learn, I have a lot of patience and I want those around me to feel cared for.
I have a heart for third world communities and empowering others.
I have been to Nicaragua, Haiti, the Amazon, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. I dream of going everywhere else.
My favorite place? In the arms of someone who loves me well.
PHILOSOPHY
Be intentional, have fun.
I am almost obsessed with making the most of every moment, and not letting fear stop me from living out my dreams. My life is fleeting. I want to make every second count, and love others along the way. When I die, everything I did for myself will die with me. I rather dedicate as much as I can to others.
Be like the sun and rise in it's strength.
Forgiveness is choosing not to let bitterness reside in your heart.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I don't really watch them, but there are a few that grab my heart for adventure, humor and relationships
Music: Almost anything but country.
Books: Love Does
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have climbed, slept in, and swam in a volcano. I have had my help rejected my a homeless man in tattered clothing and a missing arm, because he says he's not worth it. I have played on the mud floor with 10-yr-old Maria, who dreams of being a doctor. I have seen women and children trampled for food, hills of tent cities, and 4,000 people finding hope amidst hell on Earth. I have ran through the Amazon, swam through the Amazon and sat under its starry sky. I have road tripped through Africa, bungee jumped Victoria Falls, and photographed the Masai.
I don't say these things out of pride. I share these things in hopes of prompting thoughts, questions and sparking passions.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a little photography, piano, Spanish, salsa, social entrepreneurship, and about international development.
I can share my life stories and thoughts on life, although I much rather hear about yours =)
