ABOUT ME

I'm 26. I'm moving to Austin to change up my life a bit. My life is currently pretty damn good, but I want to be in a cooler location with more activities and opportunities.

Some of my interests are: photography, backpacking, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, climbing (only been indoor, but you can help me make the change), and guitar.

I'm hiking the Appalachian Trail in spring 2013 with some friends. I've done a short section hike there and loved it, and I'm excited about making my hike into a sort of photo-documentary of the people/places/things/ideas I come across.

I also like computers. I've built a few. It's just researching and buying parts then assembling them, but it's a lot of fun and relaxing.

I'm a bit of a nerd.

I couchsurfed during my move to Austin, TX. The person who hosted me became one of my favorite people, and we are good now good friends.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

1. 9 friends and I completed a Tough Mudder.
2. I accepted a marriage proposal to a Zulu girl without realizing it. (It didn't work out.)
3. Visiting Petra was amazing. Before I went, I thought it was just that one stone-carving from Indiana Jones. That place is massive.
4. Backpacked the Appalachian Trail in 2013.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

- I have a working knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic. I'm useless in dialect situations, but I can read Arabic newspapers like it's my job.
- Photography. I have technical knowledge, and I enjoy making portraits and doing photo shoots.
- I can write simple programs in JavaScript.
