ABOUT ME

I'm a very enthousiastic girl, smiling and laughing a lot ! I love discovering anything I don't know about, which is enough to keep me busy for a while...

I love backpacks, bookshops (esp. second-hand ones), hardware stores, wine & cheese, beer & music, driving till the road ends, rolling my cigarettes, dancing on the beach, the smell of kerosene, watching movies till the end of the credits, black coffee ... I love cold & stormy weather, la crème de caramel au beurre salé, rain & rainbows (double ones ? wow !), roller coasters, the middle of the night, writing letters (actual ones, not e-mails), dancing tango...

PHILOSOPHY

My only principle in life is to always be ready to learn, discover, experience.... Never say "no" because you think it's not for you, just go & see !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Try to be a good host and a good surfer, so that people keep on appreciating CS.
But even more, I really try to spread the word, and to explain to people all the spirit of this project =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great trip to Copenhagen, wonderful experience in Italy, hosted some CS in Paris too... And I can't wait to see what's next !

Didn't host/wasn't hosted much in the last years, because I was either crashing at other people's places, or living in a tent in the Congolese jungle ! But I'm going back on the road, hoping for a whole new set of experiences !

Interessen

I try to pay attention to things. What does it mean ? Well, seeking for the crazy, the unusual, the beautiful, down there in the streets or everywhere else in the world. Passing by old furnitures to go away on the side of the street, and finding treasures ! Noticing how people occupy the streets, the walls, the world with their imagination ! Well, the list is too long to be written, but I hope you get the idea !

I really enjoy all forms of arts : going to a play in a theater, but also "street arts" (I'm always amazed to see people playing with fire or juggling or so), dance, music... I'm really curious about all the ways people get to communicate with others !

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

"Extreme" sports : skydiving, bungee jumping, rafting, jumping from cliffs into the sea make me feel alive !

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Teaching some easy recipes (my favorite ? A delicious lemon meringue pie !), some words in French if you don't speak the language, and anything you'll be interested in, really.
Learning ? Playing the guitar, new languages, making a decent cocktail. But basically, learning about other people's "culture" is enough to make me happy !
