CURRENT MISSION

I am a recent college grad and am looking to do some traveling before I settle down with a 'big girl' job..I have a serious case of Wanderlust and absolutely love meeting new people and hearing real adventure stories. I look forward to hearing some of yours!

Amanda-I am pretty adventurous and independent. I was brought up by a single mom with 3 kids and have not had much a chance to travel until now. I like the outdoors and have a profound respect for nature. I know how to have a good time but know my limits. When I go out, I like to go all out and don't need alcohol to get me started.

PHILOSOPHY

Amanda-I am fortunate to be here in this world and have mother Earth to thank. I am aware of my surroundings and know that the world is a bit strange, chaotic but beautiful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have couchsurfed a lot in Europe but have not done any hosting myself. I have had the BEST experience with couch surfing and it's amazing how generous people in the world are! This has totally opened my eyes to how amazing all people are! I'll never forget the people who have hosted me throughout the years! I love this place!

I love learning about culture and hearing about different peoples' lives and adventures!

Interessi

Music,Art,Nature, Yoga, Sangria! The beach (nude beaches too)...Dancing, Dancing, Dancing! History! Traveling..obviously! Road trips, dogs, cats, animals, especially the Orangutans! Museums, art, coffee, cooking and eating new foods!

I am very eclectic. I like everything from Madonna to ACDC, Britney, The Supremes, the Beatles, 50 Cent. Rap, hip hop, classic rock, blues, bluegrass, classical, jazz, any live music is great!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I had an opportunity to go to Central America on a scholarship. I was able to see new cultures and ways of life which was incredibly eye opening and I want to experience much much more! Backpacked Europe with my best friend in summer 2010. Stayed with a host family in Ecuador and trekked through the Amazon jungle while watching my friend get chased by monkeys! I also camped through many national parks in the USA alone in the wilderness!~
