About Me
ABOUT ME
You can justify a whole lot of things or especially happenings by acting on the assumption that everything has a cause or is the cause of something. Life is easier that way, not to sound cheap or uninterested, but I believe there are such things as karma and fate. It leaves a warm feeling to know that everything will turn out well eventually. I'm not a religious person, but I think one needs something to rely on, whatever it may be.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything has a part you can at least smile about. It's how things work, even the bad things are funny somehow. That doesn't mean to turn everything into absurdity, actually it's the complete opposite of it.
Most importantly, don't take yourself too seriously. Life continuously makes a joke out of oneself, laugh with it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since hosting has somehow a big tradition in my family, I do so, too. Anybody is welcome, although it makes sense that you are at least 18 years old to make things a little easier. Not necessary, though.
What should be clear and obvious is a proper message if you ask for my couch.

Music, Movies, and Books
I kind of like all types of music, however; I really enjoy classic rock.
Most of the books I read come from the direction Hemmingway, Bukowski, etc. but I also like science-fiction and (serious) fantasy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Witnessed someone talking a woman out of jumping in front of a train. Was intense.
Teach, Learn, Share
Despite my knowledge about nutrition and food in genereal, my cooking skills are rather practical. If you like to cook, there's probably something we can learn from each other.
