ABOUT ME

My last name is Dutch for 'happy' and that's what I am: a happy person, 24 years old.
I live in Delft, where I was born and raised and where I study.
I am impulsive, honest, enthousiastic and energetic and joyful! Oh, I also have long hair.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a christian and a devote follower of Jesus Christ. (everyone is welcome, though)
I believe that everyone is lovingly created by the Lord, our God. Thus, I believe that I am worth no more (and no less) than every other human being.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a friend over to crash on my couch when he was to tired to drive the 10-minute trip to his own house.
A brony friend of mine came over to stay. She slept on my couch.
My sister stayed over for one night.
I've hosted twice to CSers:
First, a lovely lady from Taiwan, travelling through Europe.
Secondly: Two amazing girls who were hitchhiking and needed a place to stay.

Interests

I love music (especially, but not limited to, metal), movies (I have a lot of them... a lot!), games, paragliding (in Austria), skiing (in Austria and Sweden), mountaineering (in the Alps), singing and playing guitar and going out with friends.
I also love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. (I'm a brony!)
I also have very specific preferences about beers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music that has skill, talent and a great message in it. The same with movies, although I am a bit more loose at that. I like every kind of movies: horror, animation, chickflicks (not too many after each other), war movies, drama's, comedies, action... name it and I have at least 4 movies in that genre.
Books: Bible! Next: Lewis, Tolkien, Astérix & Obelix, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a paragliding pilot and thus I have flown like a bird over the trees and the hills and the houses. It's amazing. I like to go to great heights, literally, for climbing mountains and flying in the sky are my sports.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn to actually wake up when I need to and how I can study more efficiently.
I am good at giving massages and I like to do that. While giving you a massage, I can teach you it, if you want to.
