Overview
About Me
I'm a real cinephile, I just love film.
Right now I will start studying audiovisual arts at the St Luca in Brussels (from september 2017 onwards).
Next to film, I love travelling. Meeting new people and experiencing different cultures is just one of the most beautiful things there is. I also like to hike and camp during my travels. I also did a lot of volunteering at (film)festivals, which is a great way to get to know a lot of people. I also like to play sports, doesn't really matter what. I have played soccer, tennis and basketball. Finally, music is really important to me (!), be it classical or electronic. I play the piano, and am learning the guitar and accordeon right now!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people and being able to exchange different ideas with eachother.
Interests
Well, besides my enormous interest in film, I love good literature, I love reading but should read more. I also try to get to know new music (ambient, classical, electronic, techno, jazz, disco etc.). Music still is the most beautiful of all art forms.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: funk, disco, techno, house, soul, hiphop, classical, jazz, ambient, minimal.
Movies: Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky, Stanley Kubrick, Alex van Warmerdam, Alejandro González Iñárritu.
Books: Sculpting in Time (best book ever written on cinema), The Discovery of Heaven (Mulisch) and I'm just not reading enough cause I can't really think of others that I loved anymore...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled through the whole of Europe when I just turned 18, such good memories and experiences; slept under the palm trees in Greece, met such a kind family in Macedonia, walked around in the wonderful city Firenze etc. It was the first time I really discovered how much fun travelling is.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a thing or two about (Dutch) cinema, can recommend you some films you should watch. Of course, I can also teach you the basics of the Dutch or German language. I really would like to learn new languages, at the moment the next project is French, since I moved to Brussels.
