COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted more people, than I have been hosted by people, but I met many interesting individuals through CS. In the past I have always travelled and stayed with people that I met through music and internet. It's always more interesting to stay with local people than to stay at some lame hotel and not just because of the money!

I'm very much into music, mainly black metal, bands like Marduk, Ondskapt, Deathspell Omega and others.

I love absurdism and dark humour. I like Dostoievsky, Kafka for writers.

I like extreme cinema...some favorite directors are Coen brothers, Emil Kusturica, Dusan Makavejev, Alex van Warmerdam, Jörg Buttgereit, Pasolini, David Lynch, Caspar Noel, Andrej Tarkovsky among others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being held up by Polish police with automatic weapons and dogs after entering Poland for the first
time. I was in a train filled with people coming from Loveparade in Berlin. Evidently they were searching for drugs... I showed my Dutch passport saying I really needed my connection to another train and they let me go!
