IMPORTANT: I am not verified on couchsurfing. I used to be under the old system (member since 2010) until they started charging a lot of money for it when they changed their policies during covid. I think it is ridiculous the 'verification' is seen as some kind of proof of identification when I was verified for years already and now my phone number and passport became 'unverified' since I refuse to pay 70 euros. This verification is "for life" as they say but that's what they said before too so that is hard to trust. Still love the platform and the community though!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Overlanding from the Netherlands to Thailand (hitchhiking most of the way). Hitchhiking to Moscow, driving to Chechnya and Dagestan and following the Volga up from the Caspian basin to Kazan. Traveling from Utrecht to Ethiopia without flying. Did couple of months of hitchhiking, couchsurfing and playing guitar in Brazil last year.
