Hi there! I am Wout, living in Antwerp, Belgium's most beautiful city. I know the city by heart: I was born and raised there and have never lived anywhere else.
I obtained a Master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Antwerp and wanted to do something completed different afterwards, so I got another Master's degree study in Organisation & Management. After 7 years of studying, I got my fill and I am currently looking for a job. We'll see how that goes :)

Last summer I went hitchhiking and hiking around Scandinavia for two months. Looking to meet new people on the road!
- A couple of weeks later - Well, that was a fun experience. I'd love to return the favour now and host some people.

I play the saxophone and the guitar, not so much by myself anymore but mainly with other people. I've played in a couple of bands the last years, and with some of those I've performed live, which is in my opinion one of the most fun things to do, ever.
I used to be an active member in the university theater company in Antwerp. I've acted in and directed several plays and did and was the president of the company.

I was invited to a Norwegian wedding in Tromsø where I didn't know anybody and had the best time ever.

Studying philosophy was a very humbling experience for me: it made me realize that we understand at the same time a lot and very little about the world we live in. I don't have 'one big philosophy' I want to share with the everybody, on the contrary. I'm fascinated by the way other people live and very eager to learn all about the people I meet.
