ABOUT ME

I love to cook and to swim. I always wish for endless summer. Actually, I don't mind winter at all as long as it's sunny.

I'm currently living in London, finishing my master degree in architecture. Having lived and worked in different places I feel a bit vagabond-ish at times but I'm sure there will come a day when I feel like adopting a pet dog - a good sign that I am ready to stick around in one place indefinitely.

Music, Movies, and Books

these days films that I find pleasantly entertaining (or pleasantly disturbing, at times) are those by Cohen Brothers, Woody Allen, Wong Kar Wai, David Lynch, Wes Anderson, Linklater, Almodovar, Tarantino, and those starring Julianne Moore.

Beach House, The Knife, Metronomy, Mystery Jets, Beatles, Twin Shadow, Queen, Deerhunter, The Strokes, The Smiths, The Rapture, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Nina Simone, Animal Collective,Leonard Cohen, Blondie, etc etc oh and I take occasional pleasure in pop music so long as they are shamelessly daggy.

Invisible Cities, Metamorphosis, Siddhartha, White Tiger, Norwegian Wood, Unbearable Lightness of Being, Blindness, Nineteen Eighty Four, Franny and Zooey, and other titles that come in penguin classics because they're cheaper, lighter and smaller - perfect companion for otherwise long and stupefying london bus ride.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dancing on top of a moving train - Ha. Not that crazy of a traveller.

On top of my head - although this will sound exceedingly melancholic - was waiting on a boat to get into this tiny island in Indonesia, it was pitch dark without electricity and rather too long of a wait, but then as I looked closer the island was lit by hundreds of fireflies and flashes of shooting stars. Aww.
