ABOUT ME

I am currently pursuing a master's in International Environmental Studies in Ås, Norway. In particular, I am currently studying nature's rights, environmental legislation, and sustainable transformations. I have been working in the field of sustainable food systems for the last ten years at several scales, and agroecology is a long-term area of interest.

I am constantly seeking contact with my circadian rhythm. I am glad mad scientists didn't blow up the moon to control the tides. I have been told that I fall somewhere between Lola of Charlie & Lola, Holly Golightly, and an electric version of Yoda. I have previously been called Whitney 'don't think twice' Richardson, but perhaps that person has evolved.

I believe in a better world and absurdity. The love child of those two are nonsense poems.

My hobbies include catching light, working with soil, poems, yoga, inversions, dancing in the dark, linguistics, playing with fabric, making kites, cobblery appreciation, and conversing with strangers. I aspire to be horseback riding, bell making, motorcycling & natural building. I am interested in riding out into the sunset, sticking my feet into a lagoon, and conflict resolution. I wish I could spend my day resolving trivial disputes.

I like my eggs poached.

PHILOSOPHY

I always listen to children. Fear comes from rationality, and I would like to reject both. I like listening to what my body is telling me. Humans are plain members of a horizontally-structured ecosystem.
