Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After going on a month long 'tour' of Europe in high school I was left feeling like I had visited a museum instead of a real place with real people. Now I try to make my travels more personal; when I found out about Couch Surfing I knew it was exactly what I needed to make my travels more authentic and rewarding. While sleeping for free on other folks' couches is wonderful in its own right, I am most excited about the connections I will be making with the different people I meet along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While visiting Bormio, Italy, some friends and I asked directions to a spa hotel, instead we were directed down a path in the mountains, which led to a hot spring adjacent to a roaring river of snow melt. It was glorious!
