ABOUT ME

I love to play the guitar- accoustic, flamenco, classical and to sing, especially in the shower. I love photography and drawing life as I see it take place around me. I am a very caring, honest person, who loves to check out all that life has to offer.

And I have recently concluded that I would like to go back to school to get a PhD in physical therapy.

I love to travel, listen to amazing music, learn about new cultures, and conduct research from a woman's perspective.

Interests

Watching movies. Reading good books. Drinking coffee. Playing guitar and singing. Coaching soccer. Cooking. Swing and tango dancing. As well as salsa, belly and hip hop. Traveling and living in new places. Being aware of my effect on the world. Hanging with my niece and nephew. Seeing old friends, and making new ones. Ultimate frisbee. Soccer. Tennis.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Anything by Jeanette Winterson or Jasper Fforde. Jeanette Winterson always seems to write about how I feel when I am traveling, and Milan Kundra articulates how I feel when I return home. I love to read.
Films: Hudsucker Proxy. Reality Bites. The Five Obstructions. I grew up on romantic comedies, and am a pacifist- which means I jump a lot in loud action films. My friends like to take me to them and then laugh at my reactions...
Music: I grew up on Indigo Girls, but Fred Frith is my mentor.
