COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Aside from staying on my friends couch my first experience was with my friend who was touring the east coast of the United States doing poetry.

We generally stayed with hosts of the poetry readings. I met a lot of people that I continue to have contact with and have seen since at national and international poetry events. I greatly value the friendships I made on that trip.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I stayed for two weeks at the Abbey of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in Rome, Italy, going to mass and prayers with the monks. My brother is a monk with the order.

While there I was able to have a private tour of the Vatican gardens with one of the secretaries to the Governor of the Vatican and my brother.
