About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life and explore
ABOUT ME
I'm a manufacturing engineer in my early 30's who has recently relocated to Charlotte, NC. I'm having a blast meeting new people and discovering the area. I'm very un-engineering like in the sense that I love being adventurous getting out of my element. I'm on a quest to try some new things and see what there is to do, both here in town and out across the state/country/world.
PHILOSOPHY
Go live the life you deserve, you owe yourself nothing less.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only dabbled a bit in couchsurfing, but now that I have a larger place and have settled into town I would like to get more serious about it. I'm still doing a lot of exploring in this area, so if you'd like to know someone to go try new things with feel free to drop me a message!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing experiences:
-Tallahassee FL...Old friends and great food
-St. Augustine FL..awesome!
-St. Petersburg FL...Great coffee, great company, and waaaay too much stuff to do, have to go back soon!
Interests
Currently trying my hand at writing a novel. I love contemporary fantasy (try Supernatural or Being Human). I'm 1/4 way into my first book.
I also love music, camping, and indoor rock climbing (I'm a beginner on the last one). they're my favorite ways of staying in shape.
I'm a bit of a photographer and I love taking pictures. Kind of stinks though that I'm in so few of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once took a 3 week road trip out west and camped and hiked all over the country, from Glacier national park, to Redwood, to the Grand Canyon. It was an amazing adventure seeing all the nature and the different geography. I'd love to do it again, or dedicate a little more time to hiking in those areas.
I once took a week with my family, chartered a sail boat and sailed up and down the gulf coast of Florida. I learned how to pilot the boat and navigate, as well as got to explore a large amount of the gulf coast's small towns and shops.
