About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To actualy live up my dreams by doing them, not just dreaming.

ABOUT ME

With a passion to life. I like to challenge myself to do some new things. Every each of us is doing something new every day. So do I, with a bit of children curiosity. My biggest dream would be travel all around the globe. To see it with my own eyes. To experience the earth. I guess that's why I choose to study tourism. But when I'm not thinking worldwide, I like to stay all day in bed and do exactly nothing. Or just watch some movies and eat chocolate.
When I'm not so lazy, I'm involved in youth organization. I'm well known with the environment in non-formal education and all the benefits that comes from working in youth organization. I have made my own international youth exchange project called "Volunteer, are you there?!" This opportunity gave me enormous experience with managing projects. I have been to some youth exchanges myself, for example- in Netherlands, Lithuania, Macedonia, Romania etc. The greatest ever project I was participating in was a hitchhiking project where we hitchhiked from Poland to Italy, from Baltic sea to Adriatic sea. Great, great adventures. I just finished my university so who knows what will wait for me in a near future.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is worth living, so do whatever makes you happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm mostly surfing in CS, not hosting. I'm totally in love with couchsurfing community in Porto, Portugal, where I lived for a year. We have those meetings every week where we meet locals and newcomers. Great times. Right now I'm back in Riga.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed more than I have hosted people. But my experience have been good so far. People are very nice and they open their homes for adventures people. And I really admire that in everyone that not only host people but spend some awesome time together. And of course all of my friends from couchsurfing community in Porto. Can't take that away.

Interests

books, traveling, all possible ways of chocolate, taste of adventure, movies, candle light, warm socks and coco at cold winter night, summer, green grass, Riga, cornflowers, strawberries with milk, NGO's, marshmallow challenge, stars, mac'n'cheese

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm almost addict from Tv series. But now I enjoy- Californication, Game of thrones etc. One of the best Tv show is definitely 2 1/2 men.
But when I dont watch Tv shows, I watch a lot of movies. My 2 all favorite movies is Paper man and Soul kitchen. Some movies that also is worth to see- Into the wild, The big year, 50/50, The best exotic marigold hotel.
And books- I love all kinds of fiction books- adventurous (The millennium trilogy) and history based (for example The Hidden Diary of Marie Antoinette), fun and completely based on imagination (like- Kafka on the Shore)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked at -20 degrees. You need a lot of patience to do that, as I'm not very patient that was challange for me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine
