Hi, my name is Weiting, passionate for life and for discovering all kinds of beauties in an ephemeral life :-)

Love all kinds of outdoor sports, nature, art, history, cooking, reading, photography, finding some vintage and antique things or secondhand books, music, perfume.... I also like discovering how people lead their life with their own philosophy (kind of like a anthropologist ;), curious for lots of things, even some are a little bit scaring or silly, I'll try my best to conquer the fear and to experience it :)

Not very good at getting passed of my driving license (already fallen for 3 times, especially it's just a scooter license 😂), finding the direction (I ever got lost in the city where I've lived since my birth for 3h), reading the map (thus I can't live without Google map !).

I cooked "biological weapon" before.. But after my summer adventure in Europe, I know how to cook some delicious food, in a Western way or Asian ways. (Proved by my friends ! ) So dont worry you won't get poisoned or died !

Oh by the way, when I get tipsy, I'll smile for whole 2-3 hours, and extremely sleepy. Yet, I still like drinking some alcohol with friends and cook together. Why not ? Right ? ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite two words are "wanderlust" and "serendipity". I do believe life is constructed by couples of continuous connections, and traveling is a sparkling comma during the long period.
Couch surfing is a platform to make people to share and exchange their ideas, stories, different experiences of life, and etc. I expect to meet some interesting people, curious of life and passionate for traveling.
Maybe we'll get a lifetime friendship and meet again in another corner of the world who knows ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

🚩2016 Experienced my first hitchhiking in the east of Taiwan, also that was my first time to be a backpacker !
🚩2017 Sitting outside of the Arena in Nîmes with my host with two bottles of beer in hand, listening to the concert music inside of the Arena, saying "We cheat!" to each other and laughing out loud !
🚩2017 Climbing Calanques in Marseilles almost at midnight.
🚩2017 Traveling almost alone in Europe (mostly in France) for 2.5 months, and sharing endless marvellous moments with my hosts and some persons just met at random on the road !
🚩2017 Illegally camping in Sanxiantai, Taitung (Nobody on the road, no light, no electricity. Totally in the middle of nowhere 😂) just for seeing the dawn light !
🚩2017 Got a hitchhiking of a vegetable seller, so we just drove down from the mountain ro the plain, selling the vegetables at the same time lol. And another hitchhiking of a police car in Taiwan, trust me I'm not a criminal !
🚩2018 Planned to go to Pingxi at the next day of lantern festival but failed it due to losing the direction, then just on the way back to Taipei the electronic system of train broke down so we were just abandoned in the middle of nowhere at night, then approximately 100-150 people ran behind of us to grab the final bus to reach another city. The whole scenery was so ridiculous and crazy, like the zombie online game lol !
🚩2018 Completing a semi-marathon though got a serious flu deeply sick at that time.
🚩2018 Visiting the photography exhibition of one of my favorite photographer, Steven McCurry !
🚩2018 Had an amazing and crazy trip in Hualien, Lanyu and Taitung, meeting some amazing encounters unexpectedly, and also got my "third" proposal so far (can't figure out why I've randomly received some proposals while traveling just after some delightful conversations, extremely ridiculous )

What I Can Share with Hosts

Taiwanese culture and history during the occupation of Japan, Mandarin language, and East Asia cultural difference, including the attitude toward the female and the homosexuals, also the media in Taiwan...

What's more? I can share how I learn French and the extremely interesting cultural differences between France and Taiwan!

Maybe Chinese calligraphy !!
