ABOUT ME
i'm a 26 year old medical student living in new orleans. i grew up in a small town in louisiana, went to lsu and now find myself in the nolia. i've really enjoyed the city since i moved here. i have a wonderful girlfriend, meghan, and a big lazy dog..really big. he's a bullmastiff.
PHILOSOPHY
this is tough. do unto others..no man is an island..i need to think a lot more on this before i hastily summarize my personal philosophy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
my girlfriend and i plan to host some couchsurfers this year. soon we'll head to chicago and hope to surf with some nice people up there.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i've met people who've had very positive experiences with couchsurfing.
Interests
i'm interested in cooking and the culinary world. i love to travel. for me, traveling began as a quest for adventure. that spirit continues, but i've found that the exposure to foreign cultures and people of different backgrounds has been just as rewarding and enriching. i'm also beginning to dive when i travel, when possible. i'm pursuing a medical degree diligently, and i hope to do some positive, good work in this field someday. i like progressive ideas and movements in general i.e. i like anyone or any group that tries to make something around them better.

i really like wes anderson films and smart scifi. favorite movies of the past year include inception and i am love.
i haven't had as much time to read in the past couple of years because of school, but i really appreciate and enjoy atul gawande. he writes on medicine for the new yorker. he's also got a few good books out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
