About Me

I am an Earth Lover, Adventurer, Artist, Life Coach, and Truth Seeker. I believe that what is best for our planet is best for us. #HealthyLifeHealthyPlanet #ItsUpToUs

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people from all over the world, learning about other cultures and ways of being.

Interests

I am a passionate environmentalist that is continually striving to change my day-today and artistic habits in order to have less of an impact on our beautiful planet. I believe that the more people turn inward and listen to their heart and soul, the better off we and our planet will be.

Following an auto accident in 2010, I reached a point of not being able to do the things I love such as travel and painting, my heart and soul grieved when I was told I would be in a wheel chair the rest of my life. This, however, became a powerful motivator to fight back and get well no matter what the "experts" were telling me.

Travel, photography, health and wellness are my passions. I encourage everyone to follow their joy and curiosity and see where it takes them in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to live music especially R & B, folk music, indigenous music, and Blue Grass. I mainly read to learn although I occasionally read fiction for pleasure. I just finished The Story of Forgetting, a fascinating story told from the perspective of three characters whose lives ultimately connect through loss and love. My favorite genre of movies are epic historical dramas with grand cinematography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After being in an accident in 2010 which led to me having to use a wheel chair, I educated myself on natural solutions and worked hard to regain my active, healthy lifestyle.

I wrote a book: https://www.amazon.com/Stolen-Blood-Shattered-Aftermath-Traumatic-ebook/dp/B00N70Q9Q4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1495228749&sr=8-3&keywords=stolen+blood

While raising five children as a single parent, I finished my undergraduate degree in art and my master's degree in counseling.
