About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To backpack around the US for a year starting in July! Anyone got a spare couch and an awesome attitude? ;) lol

ABOUT ME

I'm Sydney born and grew up here. Right now I live in a little terrace with some awesome people in an awesome part of the city! Its a fun, nice place with quite a bit of action if you grew up in my neighbourhood. I went to a German International School here in Sydney so I spent most of my childhood being the Australian (beloved) outsider and now at Uni all my Aussie friends think I'm German! ha ha ha
I LOVE Ballet, Yoga, cooking and drinking (especially wine)! I'm fascinated by everything Japanese (haven't been there yet :( ), especially the show Iron Chef! It's hilarious!!! My house mates and I are pretty in the K-Pop and J-Pop music and shows. You're more likely to watch a korean soap opera at my house then an episode of Greys Anatomy.
I'm nearly done studying (NEARLY, YAY) and I work at a methadone clinic at one of the biggest and most hard-core hospitals in Sydney. Let's just say not a lot shocks me :D
Sydney is awesome but I'm ALWAYS happy to get away and also ALWAYS happy to come home again!

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy the ride

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend of mine put me onto this site and honestly I know nothing really about it. When I get back to Sydney I'll be moving in with some friends and after that point I'll be able to have people come and surf with me :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, but let's change that people :)

Economics, finance, current issues.
Karaoke, making a fool of myself, music, movies, books.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sydney has a pretty good underground/ unsigned music scene so I enjoy that.
Books: Valley of the Dolls, White Oleander, The Bell Jar, Gone with the Wind (lol yeah I'm a girl)
Movies: Anything classic (oh audrey), every single 80s teen movie no matter how bad it is!, Into the Wild

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Broke my foot performing a ballet piece at the Sydney Opera House (sooo embaressing).
The inside of emergency at Bellevue Hospitals in New York when my sis got really sick while we were celebrating my 21st birthday.
Freezing my feet off at -18degrees cellecius on a 3000 foot or meter (cant remember) alp in Austria
Two homeless people getting it on behind a dumpster in LA

Teach, Learn, Share

-yummiest banana bread you'll ever taste and VERY healthy as well!
-barista
-German and a bit of Auslan sign language
-shisha smoking: set-up, rituals and flavour blending
