About Me
ABOUT ME
I live in Lin An City, a suburb of Hangzhou about an hour outside of the city center. I teach English at a university and study Chinese here, too.
I've lived in Taiwan and China. Studying Chinese is something I've been doing for about 20 years on and off.
I've been a public high school teacher, a school librarian, a catalog librarian, and a translator.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by hosting people whenever I can. I think I hosted over 12 sets of guests when I was in Qingdao over 2 years. I've also met people in China and made friends solely through the use of Couchsurfing.org.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Somebody once asked me if I ever had a bad experience hosting, and I said, NO! It's been pretty good overall! After that, she took the plunge, and now she's a couch surfing host, too.
