About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stop being an outsider looking in...stop being a tourist. Get in with the people who know the area that I'm visiting.

ABOUT ME

Been away for a while. Looking to do what little travelin I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Got myself a new couch, working on getting another. I would love to meet people around the Austin area and eventually the world once I start punching my Passport again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to this whole thing, so I have not had any experiences...yet. Very excited to though.

Interests

Picked up rowing at the lake as of late and have been loving it. Took me like 13 years but I'm finally doing it! Running and working out outside by the lake. Finding new ways to motivate myself and stay active. Slowly getting back into acting and filming. And of course, hanging out with friends wherever our days/nights lead us!

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything Bruce Willis! Die Hard is my favorite movie! Shaun of the Dead is a very close second. Love action, dramas, comedy, dark comedies, indies... Whatever is entertaining. Yes, I loved Battleship. Was not a fan of Surveillance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've deployed to a war torn nation, filmed a full length movie, attended Comic-Con with someone who was on the original panel back in the 1970's, provided health care to people living in a third world nation, and I'm not yet satisfied. I'm still searching for that amazing moment in my life. I'm open to the possibilities..

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't feel like I have a lot to teach or share. My friends and family may disagree. I enjoy my me-time but I work well in groups, being out in front. My best ideas and moments come when I'm interacting with others. I would love to learn sign language (my roommate is also helping with that), I could teach rowing. Need relationship advice? I'm pretty good with that, though I need some myself most of the time. And I can walk on my hands: though I'm not certified I could probably pass on some knowledge that would help. Oh, and writing..specifically screenplays. I would love to learn that!
