About Me
Hey there!
My name is Rafał, I'm a 28-year old expat who has been enjoying Parisian croissants and electronic music scene for over two years now. I share my time between France where I work as an IT consultant , Poland where I do a doctoral thesis and everywhere in the world where I live my life to the fullest.
This comes with an indisputable advantage of being able to get the best out of each culture - what I share with my patriots is a Polish sweet spot for vodka and a great sarcastic sense of humor; love and respect for food is what I have in common with Frenchies (uptight attitude didn't kick in yet).
I believe to be a curious, easygoing person with rich globetrotting past and full stock of stories to tell - a sure value when it comes to a couchsurfer!
And hello hello from the second :)
My name is Christian, I'm a bit younger (26) and yet more serious of the two. I'm about to finish my Master's in Finance & Law at ESCP Paris and I will move to Geneva in June for work. I can't wait to go hiking, skiing and swimming over there; besides that I enjoy reading a good book, watching political debates and documentaries.
What I share with my German relatives is a sense for structure and efficiency which is enriched by the Swiss appreciation of the beauty of life and all its aspect: wine, music, great food or cheese (mentioned extra cause its worth it!).
Together we embark on a great journey though southern states of America and hope to meet some locals to show us around a little and indicate some treasures to discover.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm still quite novice in the Couch surfing community but I think it's a really fun experience. I hope to spend my time with nice people, get to know them and the city they get to enjoy. I'm open to any ideas and activities and can't wait to be there!

Music, Movies, and Books
My Oscar best picture winners of 2015 are ex aequo : Mad Max & Inside Out.
Music wise I am a hugo electro/techno fan (Gesaffelstein, Brodinsky) as well as a 90s lover. Recently I've been much into instrumental music and started taking piano lessons. I know all of that makes up for a very unusual mix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked from Panama City to San Jose - both countries have an abundance of nature and beauty and I was stunned in places like San Blas and Playa Venao!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer plenty of tips on European trips, a cozy place to stay in the capital of France, Berlin and Geneva. I don't expect anything in return apart from a small surface where I could stretch my legs for a couple of hours during the night.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
