PHILOSOPHY
I am rarely disappointed when I make the effort to prefer quality, elegance (in the mathematical / scientific sense), or “doing things right” over quantity, ease, a quick fix, or a hack.
That’s not to say I don't use duck tape in a pinch, or wear the same jeans for days at a time, or necessarily eschew a tempting but not stellar dessert.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After helping get out the vote all day in Indianapolis in 2008, we got home to Chicago and walked out to Grant Park for the Obama election night rally.
