About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To write my love-letter to the world
ABOUT ME
I'm Reese! I'm a free-spirited, old soul. I play the banjo and the mandolin, and am classically trained in opera. To say I'm a music fanatic is a bit of an understatement. I love classic literature, and I'm often found walking around not paying attention and reading. I'm an artist, a vagabond, and an enigma. I love learning about religion and culture, and I seek wisdom everywhere I go. I love archery, and I am a fire-breather. I am currently a High School teacher and I love my job! (I have some great stories from the front-lines if you love teens as much as I do!) I blow bubbles on any occasion possible. I want to live in peoples hearts and have them live in mine.
PHILOSOPHY
"It's a bad idea-And I'm all about bad ideas"
"There is not enough kindness in the world and I want to bring more of it to people"
"You like me because I'm a scoundrel, and there aren't enough scoundrels in your life."-Han Solo
"You should always strive to leave people better than when you found them"
"Only a moment of bliss, isn't such a moment sufficient for the whole of a man's life?" -Dostoevsky

Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching is one of the main tenants of my life. My masters is concentrated in Low-Income Urban Education and I made a vow to devote my life to service of the people of the city that has brought me so much life and love. I currently live in Hyde Park, and teach in Bronzeville.
I can always show you how to breath fire if you're interested ;)
If you'd like when you visit it, I can teach you some fire-swallowing tricks :)
