Overview
About Me
I'm in Chania-Kounoupidhiana, up on the hill near the Technical University of Crete, about 7 km from Chania city center - 20 mins by City Bus No. 18. This is halfway between the city and the airport, and close to all the beaches of Akrotiri peninsula. Kalathas beach (our house beach) is 2km from the house, 5 mins by bicycle (downhill).
Medical doctor, working for international development agencies all over the world, sometimes in very out-of-the-way places (the job has taken me to over 100 countries). Originally from Germany (Hamburg). for the last couple of years I have spent my summers in my house in Crete. In Nov 2015, for a change of scenery, I moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to run an international health project. Now I'm back, spending my free time again in Crete. Welcome!
