About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Smile, take a deep breath in, move forward

ABOUT ME

Breath, Smile and Float: Do these and I can be ready for the next year.

I am living out my life in Maine at a wonderful job and life for right now. I love learning new things, work on old things, and not doing anything at times. I can over eat and forget to eat, i get sucked into TV so I try not to watch it. I would rather be outside, but also work outside most for the time so like to just sit and chill as well. I am not a
good speller or other things involving writing, but I love writing poems.

PHILOSOPHY

Smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started my connection with CS as a surfer, I hosted, connected with community and now am back to surfing under a new name and with a new mode of transpiration.

Met up with some people in mexico and then drove cross country with some CS'rs that I met in the Road Trip Group. We met and crashed at some great memebrs places a long the way. I connect with people in my State! I am having dinners, talking jobs, and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

...lots of people have surfed

...I have gotten many a ride and meal and bed in the last few months with travels!

...hung out with local groups

Music, Movies, and Books

Honestly it depends on time and space. I am open to a lot of everything, but not everything.

Books:
The Complete Book of Knots, Stone By Stone, Perishable, The Glass Castle, Blink, The Omnivore's Dilemma, James Patterson Books, Amerlia Atwater-Rhodes, Harry Potter, Earth in Mind, Peter Jenkins, Dancing With Mosquitoes, Last Child in the Woods, The Abstract Wild, The Liars' Club, Radical Simplicity, Daniel Quinn, The Shack, Freakonimics...

Movies:
I like almost all movies because I connect with them all. So if I need to the taught something, I watch a movie that fills that need. If I need action, mindless, empowered...and so on. I try not to be around screens more then I have too since I do find my self sucked into them enough already.

Music:

These are some of my most listened to bands on my iTunes right now (given that my music got wiped a few years back and i am still rebuilding...Crooked Still, Kenny Loggins, Old Crow Medicine Show, Kaki King, Ashton Shepherd, Ben Harper, Mirsy Higgins, The Beach Boys, The Lemonheads, Shawn Mullins, Solas, Blake Shelton, Chris Botti,Needtobreathe, Blue Sky Mile, Cara Dillon, Hootie & The Blowfish, Matchbox Twenty, Dana Lyons, Daisy May, Tom Petty, Alison Krauss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was asked this a few years ago and i think it will remain the same. When I was living in Idaho I was working for The Wolf Education and Research Center. Part of my internship was to monitor the health of the captive pack. On my last day I went inside the enclosure with my boss and was greeted with a "kiss" from one of the wolves! AMAZING!
