About Me

ABOUT ME

Myself and my flatmate Anton, both travelers, have decided to give back to the traveler community and branch out a bit. We both work 9-5 jobs during the week so can only host on the weekends, but we'd be more than willing to show you around then :)

I (Jack) have been hosted before in various places around the world and have met some lovely people. I've been off Courchsurfing for a while but now we want to get back on it, so send us a request!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're both very clean and would expect any guest to clean up after themselves

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Zagreb, Croatia, was my first, and was a bit of a shock - I wasn't exactly sure what to do, but they made me feel very welcome. Next to that I was hosted by people in Belgrade, Budapest, Krakov, Prague and in Canada too.

It's a truly amazing idea and community

Interests

Music, seeing the word, art (on this trip so far I've been doing murals in several hostels in exchange for free board), meeting new people, learning new skills, and creative writing, keeping fit and active, and, more recently, coding :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Growing up, comics and graphics novels were my favourite (and still hold a dear place in my heart) but I've really started enjoying reading dark fantasy books (i.e. Pullman's Dark Materials, Abercrombie's The blade Itself, works by Neil Gaiman and George Martin's Game of Thrones series)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking up to Palenque ruins in Mexico, climbing to the top of Templo del Sol, and admiring the view.

hitchhiking around eastern europe. that was intense.

Getting a lift back to hostel in Amsterdam at 4am in -10C temperatures and the back of a stoned homeless man's stolen bicycle. Honestly never thought I'd ever write a sentence like that.

Volcano boarding in Nicaragua, and making homemade cocaine in Colombia.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you have a dark sense of humour, we'll probably get on quite well
