ABOUT ME

I'm a nature lover, hugger, physically and mentally active outdoorswoman, vegetarian. My roots are in NC, but my formative years were spent in Oregon so my spirit resonates with both the lovely parts of the South and the progressive spirit of the Pacific Northwest. I love campfires, early mornings, trail running, my Greensboro community, and my awesome family!

PHILOSOPHY

We're all trying to get to the same place of inner peace, so let's celebrate all the crazy paths and share adventures (and be nice to each other)!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and surfed, but at this point I'm keeping my account for the rare occasion that need a place to crash and camping isn't practical.

It would be easier to list what does not interest me...
But, I love doing things outdoors, live music, people who look for the goodness in others and themselves, creativity, trees, farmers markets, reading, National Geographic photography, dark chocolate, goat cheese, traveling, porch swings, trail running in the mornings, or group runs in the dark, getting to bed early enough to read for a while, tea, my light-up frisbee, peanut butter (a lot), hiking, swimming in freshwater...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I biked across the US starting in Providence, RI and ending in Seattle, WA the summer of 2007 with "Bike and Build"!

I can make a mean soup:). I want to learn how to play guitar (I know a few chords) so that I can accompany myself and sing my little heart out!
I also know the Greensboro trail system really well and can be a hiking/trail running guide or send you off with a great trail map!
