CURRENT MISSION

I wish to see the world, not through a television screen, but with my own eyes.

ABOUT ME

I'm a country gal living in the city (because I don't fancy biking an hour to get to school).

I'm a bit of a mess and made the deliberate and tactical choice to live in a small appartment, because bigger space = much more items, furniture and stuff. So down sizing is the way to go (although I'd definitely not say that I live minimalisticly).

I'm not particularly social, but not a hermit either - I suppose I tend to be a bit awkward at times, especially when I don't know people well (but practise makes perfect, which is one of the reasons why I think CouchSurfing is such an awesome idea!)

I grew up on a lovely little island South of Zeeland, called Møn, with rolling hils, light green beech forests, never more than four kilometers to the ocean, and the sparkling white chalk cliffs of the East shore.
I'll always love this place.

PHILOSOPHY

I consider pride to be a virtue. You ought to, and deserve, to be proud of who you are.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not the life of the party, so I won't be able to show you Næstved's night life, but I'd love to show you the rest of the city - and a walk through the forest of Herlufsholm is deffinitely a must (it's tiny but lovely).
I'll gladly make you a cup of tea (or hot chocolate!) and if you bring your bike or a pair of roller scates we can take a trip beyond the city limits.

For those considering letting me hog their couch for a night or two:
I rarely drink,
I don't smoke (but haven't got anything against smokers),
I do, though, have something against drugs, so if you happen to use them please turn my request down.

I'd love to be able to use your kitchen (I'll return it in good shape) and use your shower once in a while.

I have no allergies (besides hay fever), love pets, don't mind kids or old people, and don't demand much when it comes to sleeping arrangements - something soft where it's relatively dark and relatively quiet is dandy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only surfed one couch so far - I must remedy this situation!

兴趣

Photography, fantasy literature, wierd and geeky things, knowledge (although storing much of it isn't my strong suit), walking through pretty landscapes and day dreaming.
And... archery, languages, art, folk music, fashion, hiking, biking or running, architecture, history, and countless other things.

The bug that has bitten me at the moment is BBCs documentaries - and awesome television series (The Finder, Awake, New Girl, and The Big Bang Theory to name a few).

I've bungy jumped!!! :D (I'm ridiculously proud of that) 72 meters off a crane.
And I've walked on the Greenland Ice Sheet!
(Also, I apparently cannot count 'cause that was more than one.)
