Hello!!! I'm Wyy (Wong Yong Yin). I was born in Malaysia and living in Kuala Lumpur.
I'm a full-time university college student majoring in accounting, auditing and taxation. I'm also a freelance account assistance and part-time math tutor. I wish to motivate students to learn and love math as I do, and I desire to share all of my knowledge and stories with them.
I enjoy traveling alone, because I can follow my heart and make my own decisions for destination and period of time. However nothing is better than group traveling, share and listen to one's stories with each other.
I'm proud of myself that I could afford myself to travel overseas at least once in a basis year. I'm grateful that my parents are supportive too.
I love staying on my own, I'm not very good at socializing or deal with people but I'm learning it. Every weekend, I love just stay in home for whole day listening to music or pure piano while reading comics or playing games, as long as what I want to do and enjoy it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started providing my place to those travellers and backpackers from all over the world, who wants to save cost on accommodation or has limited budget for travelling.
I want to help those who need help, because I believe in someone will reach out and help me when I need it as well.

Interests

My major hobbies are playing basketball, jogging and working out with the punching bag. I often hit the gym and I train a lot on my upper body by focusing arm and back workouts.
I'm definitely an active girl in sports, especially indoor activities because I don't like to explore under the sun. I'll go swimming with my friends when they visit my place too!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to absolute music especially by Yiruma, a South Korean pianist and composer. Among his most popular pieces are "River Flows in You" and "Kiss the Rain". Besides, I like listening to anime piano music or other relaxing piano music.
I like reading books, other than those categories related to my studies and profession, I would love to read self-improvement, finance and investment articles.
I love watching anime and Naruto is my favorite since I was young. I enjoyed watching horror movies at cinema with my friends because I enjoyed the sound effects, and I'm a fan of Marvel too.
My favorite idol is Kim Hyuna from South Korea, I love her all songs and she dances very sexy!!! My favourite band is EXO which consists of korean and chinese members, I've been their fans for few years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I shared with my friends that I had been travelling alone Taipei and Tokyo in 2018, staying at places with "strangers" that I met through this app, in order to make my whole trip within the budget and as low as I can. They for sure got shocked and surprised that I as a girl, so dare to stay with people that I don't know and not even know whether he is kind or bad guy...bla bla bla but for myself, I'm very clear what I'm doing and it's enough.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy staying alone, it was a very long story that made me become the way I am right now. Anyway, I'm always grateful and appreciated to those people and things came into my life and taught me a new lesson.
I learned to let go those insignificant thing and throw those bad things back of my mind, don't ever to look back and struggle in the past. The right thing should we do is to enjoy every moment with family members and precious friends, I believe all accidents in life are destined regardless good or bad to us and everyone have to face it to deserve the happy ending.
