ABOUT ME

I'm all about enjoying life and being happy; that's the Most important thing to me.
I love to travel; That has been my main motivation over the years I guess: work for a year, travel for a year style. I'm a fairly spiritual person, whatever that means. Basically, I'm in constant search for the path to happiness. If you have found it, please, enlighten me. I'm also pretty quiet when you first meet me, until I get comfortable. Good luck getting me to shut up once that happens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the most part, I just surf the wave of hospitality.
I also try to be involved with the community, events, etc, as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every CS experience I've had has been extremely positive. I've met so many great people and have just been overwhelmed by the sincerity and kindness of my fellow CSers. The rest of the world need take notes.

Interests

Travel, trees, facial hair, shootin' the breeze, sketching + watercolor, meditation, enlightenment, coffee and cigarettes, hats and shades, industrial art & design. Philosophy. Minimalism. Buddha, Bud, and breaking the rules. Revolution.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite authors: Steinbeck, Kerouac, Salinger, Frost, Heinlein, Tolkien, Jordan, Pirsig and Poe.

Films: Darjeeling Limited, Station Agent, Princess Bride, Austin Powers (#1), Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, The Big Lebowski, Jui kuen II, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Music: Classic rock (Beatles especially), Motown/soul, Jazz, Reggae/Dub, Hip-Hop, classic Metal, Trip-Hop, Classical (guitar esspecially). I enjoy music from all genres. As the Great Duke Ellington once said, "If it sounds good, it is good", That's actually my general philosophy with most things (as you may have gotten from "personal philosophy" above).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just rode cross country with two friends on Harley Davidsons, that pretty much takes the cake right now.
Also just did a pretty life changing 10 day Vipassana course.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always looking for new experiences to learn from, and I'm happy to impart any knowledge I have. The idea of CSU is great, I would love to be a part of it.
