Overview
About Me
I am a contemplative & curious adventurer! My work is focused on teaching emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and communication skills. I'm also engaged in advocacy work with an emphasis on empowerment and empathy. I love to play guitar and sing, I love to rockclimb and do gymnastics and other forms of play, and I love cooking big vegan meals!
I'm easy going and low maintenance. I don't drink or smoke. I clean up after myself. I like conversation and washing dishes, and I generally keep to myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm really excited about building community. I'm also really excited about discovering places through the eyes of their people, and making traveling less about capitalism and more about real immersion, authentic connection, and spontaneous fun.
Interests
I believe in living for integrity, and my deepest longing is to be a part of supporting the emergence of a more empathetic global culture. I believe the first and maybe even most important part of that is in bringing presence and care into treating the people around me with the respect, compassion, and empathy that we all deserve.
I'm really into permaculture (regenerative agriculture system design). I think that plants grown with ecological context and system awareness can give us the opportunity to lead healthier happier lives, regrow community, and heal the damage that has been done to the earth.
I'm really into climbing on things, and running around, and jumping off of the things I climbed, riding bicycles, sitting in the grass, and any other form of childish playing.
I'm really into art and poetry and music. I play guitar ando love to sing (especially when I sing loudly).
I'm really into learning, and curiosity, and divergent thinking, and intellectual autonomy, and emotional growth, spiritual exploration, and the ironic pursuit of true objectivity

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in the deep jungle of Thailand for a month, with no plumbing or electricity we stewarded the landscape, and climbed trees to find our fruity food for the day(:
