Last decade threw me around several countries and three continents and now I've settled in Belgium for a while. Originally from Vilnius, Lithuania I moved to UK after school to study where I lived in Liverpool and London for 6 years, with a short get-away study abroad sting in Sydney, Australia. Following that, I moved to Beijing, China to study my masters, and now as a graduate I settled in Brussels where I live, work and finding my ground.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've recently moved back to Europe after studying in China and found myself in a new place that is Brussels, Belgium. Apparently, the most boring country in the world, but I'm trying to bust that myth. So looking to meet new people locals and foreigners alike, and ready to welcome visitors to perhaps explore Brussels together!

I finally have a home, where I live with my friend, and we have a really cozy sofa-bed (couch) and a few pillow,s that we are ready to offer for fellow couchsurfers visiting Belgium.

Interests

I love to move around, and not just travelling but also moving new places and experiencing them for a while, I think I'm a little addicted to that now. So I don't like to sit still and enjoy sports, doing and not watching, socialising and we get a lot of events, parties and house parties in Brussels that allow plenty of opportunities for that. Although I enjoy getting out of the house and being outdoors, I also enjoy cooking for others and being cooked for. Food if paired with a good conversation or an interesting movie, that's a great night for me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm easy on music, discover mine through Spotify Discover Weekly, and very much into deep house, chill kind of tunes. Of course still have my all time pop favourites like Beyonce, Madonna, Lady Gaga etc.

Movie wise, I am not so picky and actually will probably watch anything. Funny thing I do not like watching cartoons, but if you make me watch it most likely I will enjoy it, weird I know. Horror films I'm always up for!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have moved to live in a new country thousands of kms away, which I knew nothing about and didn't know a single person there.
