Grew up on Stone Roses/Happy Mondays/Massive Attack/Portishead/Tricky. All the norm stuff like: Marley, Dylan, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Young, Love (Arthur Lee) MC5, Stooges.

Modern: I like Jenny Lewis, Iron and Wine, Kings of Leon (early stuff) Strokes, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver

I also like deep dark electro like Vitalic and Detroit Grand Pubahs but believe it's bad for the soul and should be taken in extremely small doses in dark nightclubs.
