HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

while travelling with my sister i experienced this whole "backpacker-community", how nice travelling people ALL OVER THE WORLD could be! from swapping lonely planets to telling the right direction WITHOUT trying to sell something and, well, providing couches =) i want to be part!

A couple of years ago I found rock climbing :) I thinks it's the best exercise (no more back pain from sitting all day ;)) and when climbing outside, I looove being in nature. I also enjoy all other forms of activities on the mountains, hiking, skiing, skitouring,...

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

There are two totally magical moments I can recall:
The first one happened in July 2007, Borobudur, Java, Indonesia. I hiked up this famous buddhist pagoda ridiculously early in the morning, to just sit there and whatch the sun rise. Then suddenly the Muezzins started chanting and it was this magical muttering all over the place...

Second one took place in Death Valley, early September 2010. We decided to spent the night on the Death Valley camping grounds, and since it was too hot in the car or the tent we just slept on the picknick table outside wich was much more comfortable than it sounds like now. Well, when the sunlight started to dissapear it revealed the probably most beautiful night sky I've ever seen. When did you see the Milkway for the last time :D If that's not enough, there was somethign else even more amazing: SHOOTINGSTARS. So many of them for the whole night, I lost count....Death Valley, you own me.
