Overview
About Me
Sebby works at a school for children with special needs for 9 years.
Anny recently completed her studies (English and mathematics) at university. At the moment she works as a teacher at a vocational school in Germany.
In our free time we are taking care of an orphan boar piglet. But no worries, if we are seeking for a place to stay, the boar is otherwise engaged - as it won't accompany us on our travelings. ;)
PHILOSOPHY
- Home is where the heart is.
- “It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are accountable.” (Jean Baptiste Molière)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2012 we traveled the West Coast of the States and Canada via couchsurfing. It was such a great opportunity to get to know people from around the globe. We think CS is one of the best ways of traveling, as you can share your experiences with others, gaining an insight into the local's lifestyle and culture. ;)
Interests
Anny enjoys doing step aerobics in the context of college sports. As we're both vegetarians since elementary school, we're really interested in food in general. Anny also likes to cook and bake a lot - while Sebby just eats. ;)
If you host/ surf us, Anny will surely cook you a lovely meal. (=
Sebby is into fitness and works out at the gym.
Besides that we both like to go for a jog or being outdoors in general. We also boulder and climb.

Music, Movies, and Books
Boondock Saints, Inception, Superbad, ... and so many more.
We both listen to a great variety of different styles of music; from jazz and post-rock to metal and hardcore.
We both enjoy reading, especially books with a rather deeper/ critical meaning or which have an autobiographical background.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Our current highlight is probably our Iceland trip.
In 2015 we traveled through Iceland in a jeep, having no electricity and bed within two weeks, experiencing the wilderness while we were sleeping on an air mattress in our trunk, never knowing what adventure will be there next. (=
Teach, Learn, Share
If you are interested in trying some vegan/ veggie food, we would be happy to cook/ share recipes with you.
As Sebby tutors his friends in workout exercises, he could give you a special fitness training.
We both are also interested in politics, so it would be interesting to chat with you on that topic and getting to know your point of view and the political system of your country.
In addition, we'd love to give you some information on our German culture/ lifestyle (yes, all about "sauerkraut", beer and wine =).
What I Can Share with Hosts
German Sauerkraut, beer and wine. ;)
