About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm absolutely horrible at writing about me sections. I suppose it's because I'm doing the whole late twenties 'i need to find myself' phase, so every time I write something poof, there it goes.
It all began with my Dad promising me a trip to anywhere in the world I wanted if I did well in school. I was a smart kid, so once I got over Disneyland, the world began to open up. I have since gone across America and Canada, to Europe, traipses into Mexico, and an extended life-journey through Australia which I was reluctant to end. Traveling has changed a lot during my lifetime, as I have gotten more and more into DIY culture and alt style, and traveling has gone from hotels and full sightseeing plans written out in advance to couch surfing and seeing what sorts of underground sights I can see instead of major commercial hits.
Interests
My interests change with the weather. What's interesting and available, what the people in my life are trying and being, what blows in on the wind. The major standbys are music, though the genre will never be nailed down for long; hockey, the New York Rangers specifically; crafts, like rug hooking and DIY; drinking beer with my bros; and my kittens.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like.... too many things. A huge fan of biographies, nerdy fantasy novels(like the magic stuff), dark/cult films, musicals, punk rock, anything that my mum would describe as "what is that noise", and basically anything I haven't seen heard or done before.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My major feat has been the overall 2 years spent living a normal life instead of backpacking or traveling through Australia and the emotional overhaul and ups and downs associated with an attempt to gain citizenship, failing, coping with distance from so many new and closer-than-imagined friends, and coming to terms with who I am: Canadian, happy, and seasoned in a very special and rare way. You have no idea how things affect you until you fully and completely immerse yourself in them.
