ABOUT ME

I'm a vegetarian, into nature & animals, I don't smoke, I love travelling and I'm crazy about languages! I'm happily married to my first and only love - I met him when we were 12 :o) Right now we are in a long-distance relationship for the first time ever and it's rough... I sing & play the guitar. I have been brought up by Hippie-parents & I have no interest in fitting in with any system. I used to train to be a school teacher and worked in this job for half a year after finishing University, but I could not represent the kind of hierarchic structures school imposes on children. Then I worked as a Latin teacher in my own school and I also worked at the Goethe-Institut as a german teacher. However, I quit teaching 10 months ago and am currently rearranging my life. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living! My live has been so exciting, that ist is hard to pick one thing... Meeting my now-husband turned out to be amazing! And emigrating to America when I was 18 to live my dream of being a rock star and then actually ending up on the streets of Hollywood begging for food and receiving the most amazing support from people... Returning to school at the age of 23 and becoming infatuated with Latin... Discovering my love for Catalunya 4 years ago and now living here...

Latin! There is very little I don't know about Rome during the first century BC and I will be happy to share this knowledge with any one who wants to listen :o)
I am extremely interested in Linguistics and will happily spend an evening talking about the pronounciation of the letter "r" in Europe...
