I am a twenty-five year old Filipino American with a passion for literature, art, hiking, martial arts and travel. I study medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

I live in Kansas, the center-most state of the USA. Though I've lived in big cities like Los Angeles, Chicago and Kansas City, I love nature and the countryside the best. I love to hike, fish and explore; I also love to cook! Oh, I love music as well and I enjoy singing and playing the piano.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been traveling through Europe for the past three months and I've had wonderful experiences meeting locals through the Camino de Santiago and by random conversation. I really like to get to know the locals in big cities along with the usual sights and sounds.

I'm hoping to use Couchsurfing.com as a way to meet cool people for drinks, coffee, or just hanging out. It can get a little difficult making friends in big cities, so I hope to use CS as a way to network.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked the Caminho Portuguese (Portuguese Way of Saint James) from Lisbon, Portugal to Santiago de Compostela, Spain and Muxia/Finisterre for a total of nearly 711 kilometers alone. During this time, I managed to learn Portuguese and make some awesome friends along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I'm pretty agreeable and can make good conversation. I don't mind doing chores and helping our with tasks if help is needed, and love to really learn about other peoples' lives, stories and countries.
