I discovered this method of traveling with a friend recently when we started to plan a trip around the Erie Lake in North America. So we were completely newbies (And we still are). I thought this could be an interesting way to meet people from different places and see things that usual travelers may not see. I will definitely be using this in my future trips, though I'm not still used to this :).
