COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some wonderful people through Couchsurfing, to put it simply.

Intereses

Traveling (surprise!!), specifically trips of the long overland variety. The more I travel, the more I prefer staying in fewer places longer periods of time
Mountains and all of the things you can do in them (snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, etc.)
Beer and brewing
Learning languages (or at least trying to).
History of all sorts. I'm a bigger history nerd than I would care to admit.
Anthropology
Absurd comedy
Cultural quirks
Bad hostel stories

Music: I'm a huge music nerd. Anything and everything.

Books: Kerouac, Dostoevsky, Murakami, and Vonnegut are probably my favorite authors. The Game of Thrones books are good fun too.

I'm trained as an EMT (think ambulance) and I've worked in medical research for quite some time. So maybe I can teach you some health stuff.
I can also identify things like age and gender from bone fragments like they do in crime shows. Although I would be a bit concerned if I had to utilize this skill in a couchsurfing context (ha-ha)
