About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Looking to set up a lazy man's sustenance farm in Borneo
ABOUT ME
I'm an American third culture kid who grew up in Singapore and Tokyo. I love to travel and have been to 30 countries or so.
After working in IT for three years in Singapore and America, I traveled around the US in my minivan for almost a year. Then I was back to Southeast Asia to learn about permaculture by volunteering on little farms in Malaysia and the Philippines. Now I'm in Sabah, Malaysia looking for land where I can put some breadfruit in the ground and chill out for a decade or so... and finally host some Couchsurfers!
PHILOSOPHY
Simplify, simplify!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Interests
My interests are pushing myself out of my comfort zone (trying to live Eleanor Roosevelt's "Do one thing every day that scares you"). I love movies, reading, hiking, talking to people, and walking around new places. And eating a lot.

PATRIOTISM, n. Combustible rubbish ready to the torch of any one ambitious to illuminate his name.
In Dr. Johnson's famous dictionary patriotism is defined as the last resort of a scoundrel. With all due respect to an enlightened but inferior lexicographer I beg to submit that it is the first.
-Ambrose Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary, 1911
